The price of petrol dropped at midnight on 6 December 2016. Motorists are now paying 20 cents less a litre for both grades of petrol, while diesel vehicle drivers are paying 32 cents less a litre. However, Elegant Fuel director Rocco Strydom cautions that the exchange rate and the international oil price mean that these lowered prices aren't going to be around for long.
